Would TJMiller please accept my apology? |
When I suggested the Christian Olympics, I said that it would be "Just like the Special Olympics, but without the athleticism" TJMiller responded: "So if you're a Christian, you can't be athletic? I have a degree in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Sports Medicine. I ran Cross Country and Track at the Indiana University. I play basketball better than most of the men I know. I am a volleyball player and a softball player - still - at age 43. I love to race my GT Mountain Bike on some of the most difficult courses in the area and I win often. Oh - and I'm a Christian. Most of the people who compete in the REAL Olympics believe in God." I sincerely apologize. The comment about the athleticism was overboard. Let me correct the above statement: The Christian Olympics would be exactly like the Special Olympics. Please accept my apology? Oh Devlsadvocte... You are a master! RRRRRRRRRRaAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!... LOL! Nice... oh.. your bad for not clarifying.. TJ.. for all of your collegate acclaim, you sure are a moron EDIT: forgot to add "Most of the people who compete in the REAL Olympics believe in God." Prove *MOST PEOPLE* right now.. or I will stomp my foot and cry like some guy TJMiller did today.. --------wait---------that's you I take offense to this devlsadvoct. My sister was in the Special Olympics. I feel that this comparison unfair to those who were in the Special Olympics, they deserve better than to be compared to Christians. :) Something tells me I'll get a lot of hate mail for this one. Actually on a serious note, I really do have a problem with what TJMiller said. "Most of the people who compete in the REAL Olympics.." Wtf does that mean? I'm sure some of the special need kids I saw at my sisters track meet would kick his behind in a race.
