Is it legal to park a motorized scooter on a sidewalk in los angeles?

It's a 150cc scooter, taking roughly the same amount of space as a motorcycle.

Parking in the middle of a public sidewalk, grassy area [between the curb and sidewalk] is not permitted, unless you are near a private building and parked flush against its property line [which is usually 1-2 feet forward a facing building - often at the side of a building but not in an alley way]. If there is a bicycle rack, you are permitted to park next to the rack - not within the rack and look out for any signs which may notice that motorcycle parking is not allowed. You are allowed to park in parking lots [at the edge of the lot] as long as you either pay for the privilege or obtain permission from the parking attendant. And if you enter a building underground or above-ground parking lot and bypass the ticket issuance device; you may not be cited for such a strategy as long as you state that you are part of a messenger delivery service.

Most likely not. In NYC many people do it but technically it is illegal and some people get ticketed this way.

But if you can find private land (driveway, walkway, grass, etc.) that would be fine.
