Need hlep adjusting brakes...?

on a motorized scooter when i pull the brake it is very easy and it takes a little bit to come to a complete stop. the brakes are liek the ones on a bike i think(at least the looks of it, except i dont think it has brake pads like a bike)

look on cable for an adjustment
