What are some of the "motorized vehicles" 12-14 year olds can drive?

Like vespa's,scooters,ect.

A riding lawn mower, but not on the streets. A golf cart, but only on private property. And just about anything made by PowerWheels.

A tractor.

On private property, anything they want. On a public street, nothing... until they can qualify for a driver's license.

I believe that they can ride these types of vehicles as long as they are not on public roads or public property. It is for their own safety as well as the safety of others.

Word of advice - if the kids are caught on the streets (at least in our town) they are faced with two tickets - 1) driving without a license and 2) unregistered vehicle. The officers hate to stop the fun, but we've seen too many kids in our area injured by not stopping at stop signs or zipping in between cars.

There are none that 12-14 year olds can operate on public roadways (at least in Canada). Anyone at any age can operate any motorized vehicles on private property.14 year olds in Ontario can obtain a snow machine licence and can operate them on licenced trails but can't cross the roadways.
