Where can I buy a 1000w hub motor for an electric scooter? |
I'm looking for a 1000w 36v hub motor for an electric scooter. I'm not too sure if I can replace the motor itself with a dc motor as I haven't taken the current hub motor off. Does anybody know where or what I should do? You could try replacing the brushes,if that's the problem. |

I don't know any thing about motorscooters but I own a Hyosung 650cc cruiser motorcycle and it is absolute Junk!. I would advise you not purchase hyosung products. I had 2800 miles on mine and... I have test driven one and spoke to two people that own them one 250cc one 400cc. Both think they are wonderful scooter and have very little bad to say about them. The 250cc owner says only once... The Virginia DMV website is not very helpful for answering your question. I suggest you call a local scooter shop, the DMV or State Police.
