I'm looking for any reputable motor scooter dealers in Texas or on line. I'd rather not pay MSRP for a Honda.

You get what you pay for. Go ahead, buy an off brand and save a bunch of money. You'll regret it. As this gas mess gets worse, scooters will sell for a premium over msrp. The interest is surely there.

billcarr, you're right on the money. After investigating further and seeing a chinese scooter an associate purchased for $1700, I think I'll save my money for a better quality alternative. Report Abuse

Woods Cycle Country -- not associated with Woods Fun Center in Austin, this dealership is in New Braunfels about halfway between Austin and San Antonio. I bought some parts from them a while back they handled my small order, no problem (chain lube, and scooter Parts, Riva 200 Z, odds and ends, grease gun.)

I dealt with the Austin Woods Honda/ Fun Center, and bought parts to resurrect my 1978 CB400A Honda Hawk Hondamatic. (spark plugs, mirrors, oil filters, every thing was available but they order it from Microfilm/fiche through someone else. Got me together with all original (candy sapphire Blue) parts. I'd have preferred the Tahitian Red. But blue sidecovers match my tank, and I'd have had to look for another red tank.

Austin: Lone Star BMW / Triumph. These are straight dealers, but people usually want their selection of bikes. So its not a real test.
