Are there any 2 wheel vehicle's that don't require licenses?

Most state require either a regular driver's license or special motorcycle licenses to drive 50cc scooters on the road, and a motorcycle license for scooters over 50cc. Check with your local DMV for requirements specific to your state.

Crappy little electric scooters, pocket bikes, those scooter things with the weedwacker engines (I don't know what they're called) don't require licenses, but they are NOT street legal. You could be ticketed for driving any of them on public roads.

The only "street legal" vehicle I am aware of that does not require any kind of license is a bicycle.

Don't assume anything. This rule changes state to state so you have to check with your DMV to know for sure. Go to http://www.dmv.org/ and download the motorcycle manual for your state. It will tell you what is legal without a license or permit whether it's a moped, scooter, skateboard, or helicopter. But always check before. Driving without a license will suspend your drivers license for auto's as well. Good luck!!

I assume you mean street legal transportation. In SOME states you can operate a SCOOTER of 50cc or less displacement. Check with your states DMV, not all places let you go without any license at all.

North Carolina is one state that requires NO driver's license, tags, or insurance on 50cc and smaller scooters.

South Carolina has a law that kind of 'suggests' you need a moped license but it is pretty much of a joke, like you can operate a moped scooter without a moped license for up to 6 months, and can renew that 6 month 'free ride' period... yeah, it is whacky but that is the way it is! :)

Scooters and mopeds under 50cc are exempt from tags and insurance. It is , however, required that you have a Driver's license but not a MC endorsement. Also if less than 10 years old require a "undersized motor sticker" that is free from state.

And Dirt bikes, if operated on public lands require a license tag or a off-road registration.

anything with a 50 cc engine is allowed without a license. I bought a vespa scooter and my son has a mini dirt bike. We bought off of xtrememinimotors.com they had all sorts of 50 cc bikes and atvs and stuff like that. You could email them and ask them the question on which ones need licenses! they are extremely helpful!

where i am you have to have a licenses for anthing that has got an engine or you can get a thing that last a year cant rember what is called but it dose all depend on were you are you really needed to go and find out on were you are.

In the UK only an electricaly assisted pedal cycle which is limited to a max speed of 15 mph

lower cc scooters, usually you would need no license. Plus 80 per gallon

small scooters.. I think the 50cc & smaller ones don't require a license
