Whats the fastest a 150cc scooter can go?

I currently have an r6 but i also have a 150cc street legal scooter that im kinda working on now just for fun. It has the gy6 motor and was wondering how fast can it go with all the mods. Is it possible to get it in the range of 80mph? Its bone stock now. What mods can i purchase to achieve a better mph? Thanks

Well if it is a 5 port head then you have got most of you speed out of it if not chase up one. A performance exhaust and carbi will help and if it is a stock then up grade the 6 volt system to a 12 and you will get a greater spark but really it is only limited to the money you have because some racing scooters can do 100 miles!!!

I really don't know the answer you are looking for -- but your scooter might reach a speed of 7 miles per second if it is dropped from a height of 10 miles from the ground (if it doesn't burn up in the atmoshpere, anyway).

The race version of the honda RS125 can hit 130 mph, but that's a road racer, you know they heavily modified the engine. I'm sure you could hit 100 on the 150, if you bored and stroked it, along with some other heavy mods....but one question...why would you?

Your expectations are probably unrealistic . . many China 250cc scooters have a top speed of around 75 mph.

80mph you are dreaming. let me have some of them drugs you are on... you can't get enough range with the cvt transmission. Even if you did you would not have the torque to push it unless you were going down hill or off a cliff. the wind resistance would hold you back too. be happy with maybe 60

Ok, that's a hard question, and whatever you're working with, you'll be wasting your money, seriously, the mods will reduce engine reliability and life, especially on the Chinese products which are suspect to begin with. That said, the fastest advertised speed I know of for a 150 scooter is the Blur from Genuine (http://www.genuinescooters.com/blur.html... which quotes (drum roll please) a top speed of 70MPH.

As to the kilometers thing, keep in mind that many scooters are imported and show your speed in km, its hard to know how fast your scooter goes in MPH unless you use a GPS to test it.
