Mobility scooter brattery question- how much does it cost roughly to charge a mobility scoter? its got 2x55ah?

batteries, i know this is a difficult question to answer but all i want to know is an approx pounds or pence estimate, i dont charge it from dead flat, i top it up after every trip coz it aint keeping its power like it did when i first got it, infact it only goes about a mile before it looses power and needs a charge to get it back up to 8mph, also any tips on a good place to buy cheap batteries in the UK or or online? thanks very much for any help.

Your problem is that you keep charging it!! Your batterys are NOT CONDITIONED!! you need to run the battery right down before charging they will then last longer and hold more power. I would estimate it costs only a few pence, less than a pound for a full 10 hour charge but this depends on what voltage they are? 6V 12V ?

I have the Rolls Royce of scooters and it costs me 30pence for ten hours of charging? (fact) it goes 25 miles before needing a charge, it also does 20 mph max, and 4mph min,
and cost to buy 拢2,000?
PS i only do the max when i am on the road for which i am fully taxed with the DVLA, and insured?
