Are they in uk, charities to help disabled people ?

Ive been burgled 4 times no proteccion, to disabled people, like route2mobility and horizon-mobility, that they stold me 拢2500. Now I dont have money to buy a scooter because i live from benefits. What shoud I do ?

Must agree with fengirl. There are lots of charitable and help groups out there.....WRVS/Good Neighbours, Age Concern etcetera who will be able to offer lots of advice.
Trawl through your local council's website......they usually carry list of such organisations. Also don't forget their Social Services either.

I know how you feel F B cos I have the same problem. I have to survive on benefits (which I don't complain about - and before anyone moans about living on benefits - I have paid a substantial amount of tax over the last 40 yrs when I was healthy) but there are things I need that are just not available on the system. I will keep watching this posting. Good question.
P.S. I have found a local charity that can help with things like decorating, shopping etc and some help with household items like wash machines, fridges etc. --- ask your doctor -- it was my doctor who put me in touch with them.

If you tell us where in the Uk you live and what your disability is, I can suggest somewhere to try for funding for a new scooter.
