What type of 2 stroke oil do i use on my mini bike?

man theirs a lot of different kinds wich one is best for it its a 2 stroke air cooled 47cc it goes 47+ miles oh yeah i have another Question its new i havent used it yet it says for the first 3 to 4 tanks use the mixister of 25:1 to break it in and then to use the mixture of 50:1 normal after brake in does that sound right? wouldnt it break it to use 2 different mixtures oh yeah and im going to use premium gas and i dont care if the best one cost alot becuse i want it to last really long oh can you try to harry cuz i really want to ride it.........................................

Many people have great luck with "Yamalube" brand 2-cycle oil. I personally use Honda brand 2-stroke oil, as that is what seems to run best in my bike. You should be able to find either types of oil at any motorcycle dealer that sells off-road bikes. If not, ask them what they suggest.

The instructions are right - it is very important to use more oil (25:1) during the first few tanks of gas. This is when the moving parts fit the tightest, and need a little extra oil to keep them moving smoothly, and cool. If you don't use enough oil in the beginning, the extra friction will cause enough heat that your engine's parts will actually warp. This leads to a very short lifespan for your bike.

During break in, it's also pretty important to take it easy on the throttle. Don't ride it at full speed, and don't rev the engine until it screams. This may cause your parts to be broken in abnormally, and they will wear out much sooner. Definitely cruise around a little bit, but avoid doing burnouts and drag races with friends until you go to the normal mixture.

After a few tanks of gas, the parts will have moved against each other enough that they will have a tiny bit more clearance, and won't produce as much friction, and won't need as much oil. This is why they tell you to switch to 50:1 for normal riding. With this mixture, your engine is receiving more gas, and you may even notice a *very slight* increase in power.

Good luck and have fun!

Any synthetic 2 cycle oil will work as long as it is rated API TC -- JASO FC. Either rating will work, API TC or JASO FC. Most packaging will show both ratings.

Using the richer oil mix for "breaking in" the engine is a good idea then changing to the leaner oil mixture later will help extend engine life.

i would recommend using Blenzol
mix it 32:1
