Is it possible to put a turbo on a pocket bike?

i was wondering if it is possible to put a mini home made turbo on a pocket bike because i have made an electric turbo for my 2 stoke petrol pocket bike plz answer if you have seen one on a chinese pocket bike

ha ha ha ha!
that's funny!
#1 why would anybody spend $1200 to $1500 for a turbo charger kit for a pocket bike that's worth $300
#2 where would you mount it at? the turbo would be 3 times the size as the engine, and could the frame or the suspension handle the increased weight?
#3 that cheap 49cc engine couldn't handle the power and the high temperatures, that engine would melt down in 5 seconds
#4 the normal engine life is 8 to 10 hours even without a turbo
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

IDK/But love the way you think

It is very possible to put a turbo on anything, if you have the right tools and right size turbo.

I would call someone for proper turbo size for your engine, and maybe search your local junkyards for a used turbo that you can rebuild.

Whether or not all this cost is worth it, is up to you. but i imagine it can be done fro 1000 or less on a budget.

To get an idea of how it can be done- do an online search for turbo ATV or Turbo motorcycle. there are more out there than you think, and alot are built in peoples backyard.

I think your biggest concern is proper sizing, finding the turbo, and then proper fueling (increase for boost).

Have fun- and send pics! lol

Hmmm, another "dfg" by R.I.P. I think I'm getting the jist of what he's saying and I believe all he's doing is showing his ignorance. Grow up kid. There's no such thing as a dumb question, only people who are too dumb to ask a question. And your stupid a$$ed answers are not needed here.

Supercharging that small of an engine would be tough. A true turbocharger would require an extremely tiny turbine, For example, I believe it was the 750 Kawasaki Turbo that had a turbine the same diameter of a penny. To work right, turbos need to be small enough to spin extremely fast and big, slow moving ones will cause turbo lag all the way from NYC to LA.

The problem with your electric fan will be pressurizing the carb. To make the carb operate properly, it will need to me inside of an air tight box into which the fan is blowing air. The fuel supply to the carb will also need to be pressurized to a level higher than what the fan's air pressure is, requiring a fuel pump.

Even if you could overcome those difficulties, I suspect that fuel consumption would be extremely high because the fan would have a tendency to blow fuel-air through the inlet and outlet ports. However, this would probably help cool the engine. The increased cylinder pressures would probably promote excessive ring wear.

A neat idea but probably too difficult and too expensive for too little hp gain. Incidently, ignore the stupid answers you get.

when you grow up,and you're no longer using mommy for lunch, then you can buy a bigger bike and wont have to ask these kind of questions

WHY?

yes it possible to put a turbo on a pockect bike i have one the name of my turbo is 362wp it is normally used for lawnmower racing
