So does cycling work?



Ok. I got a bit of flab around my stomach and my calves are like flabby as well.
Now this is my workout:
30 min - Mini workouts (lunges, squats, crunches) Mostly concentrating in the abdominal area.

30 min - Treadmill or Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone.

But I want to get results by Aug. 15, a slimmer belly.
So if I do this workout through out the day
and I add biking in the mornings for an hour
everyday,
what will I accomplish?
I think I have a fast metabolism cause I usually pig out but lately I havent been eating much, so I need ideas.
I'm a 17 y/o girl btw.

Dont suggest running cause I hate it and my endurance sucks balls.
Also, do you think that video works?

Cycling is awesome on your butt, thighs, calves, it's very toning. If you want to make your stomach muscles hard, you need a bike which has you leaning forward a lot, like a mountain bike with the seat high and the handlebars low. You want to cycle somewhere that's not too flat. And if you can keep up an aaverage speed of about 20 kph (16mph) you'll burn between 500-700 calories an hour, depending on your BMI, fitness etc. A warning: if you haven't been on a bike in a while, prepare for some serious pain after the first time!!!

Riding is great, especially if you do hills, cardio city. Plus, the view is great and you actually learn to be dexterous, dodging all the crazy drivers out there.
