When your kids come home from school?

where do they put their backpacs?my kids drop everything right in the doorway....shoes off..hats hackets...scooters...guns knives...oops not that...and when i come through the door i practically have to force my way in and trip on everything...

i usually get a trail from the door to the couch a shoe here a sock there coat on the couch back pack in the middle of the floor.. yup regular war zone when he gets home

Wherever he can find the space, yes. Except there's a trail as the things come off.

my mom always told us to keep our things neatly in our room. so right after school that what my sister and i used to do.

Mine try to do that, but I am home to make them hang their stuff in the appropriate spots. I have figured out that if I have a designated spot for everything, then they are more likley or compliant about doing so. I pretty much have one that always tries to drop his things wherever, but he is the baby!

My kids take their shoes off at the door then take all their stuff back to their rooms..
