Will the government buy me a motorbility scooter? I really liked the one I nicked from morrissons and I do?

need one as walking is becoming more of an issue for me.
I asked my doctor and he talked about a diet or something, this isnt the solution I was looking for as diets never work and I need to get about NOW.
I rang social security and I just spoke to some young kid who didnt know what he was talking about, Ironically enough I would go and see them personally but I cant get there!

I think you have to get a prescription from your doctor.

Medicare should pay for it or most of it anyway.

If you have to get a new doctor.

If you injur yourself succesfully enough then you could go on invalidity and then you'd never have to leave the house as you could afford to bribng everyhting to you... women, ice cream, the sun etc God - invalidity is like the lottery.

Diet dont work coz you can't possibly stick to them for long periods, so the benefits are only for a short term. For a long term fix start making small adjustments in your current diet that you can stick to.

Write down a list of all that you eat everday, crossing something off the list everyday by removing it from your diet NOT substituting it.

if you want to be mobile you should make an effort with a diet and not expect the tax payers to wet nurse you just because you have no determination. a scooter is a defeatist attitude

Is it worth getting one? I mean lets face it, if you carry on the way your going, no exercise etc you'll be dead within a few years so it hardly seems worth it to me.

If you are on medicare and your doctor prescribes it, chances are they will pay for it. Some insurance companies will too.

Have you no pride at all?, boasting that you stole the help provided to genuine handicapped people, by a shop that has no legal requirement to provide them, but do so out of their own pocket.
