If a 15yr old kid N neighborhood gets mad @ u & eggs ur car and his parents dont care. How do you stop this?

This 15yr old punk in the neighborhood steels and destroys property all the time. The cops wont do anything. Several weeks ago my neighbor got there van egged. Two days ago the punk picked up my daughters scooter in the neighbors yard where she was playing. When he rode it past my house my son and his friend yelled at him. I walked out of the house and the kid dropped the scooter and walked off. I yelled at him to keep his hands to himself. The next morning my van and my husbands car had been egged. The neighbors told me that 4wheelers were going up and down the road late last night. All the neighbors know the punk that did it. The cops cant do anything, his parents are drug addicts so they dont care. How do you handle this?? AND just a note as to how mean this kid is. Last summer he lock a boy up in a building. Lucky the neighbor quit mowing and heard the boy screaming. ......Get the idea of what Im dealing with?

Everytime he does something to you or your belongings, make a police report. Obtain a copy of each police report you have made... The police MUST take a report if you call them. If they refuse, speak with the police chief during regular business hours (about 8am-3pm)... If you have to pay to have your car professionally cleaned or other damaged property repaired, then keep the receipts & file them with thecopies of the reports. After you accumulate a few reports and receipts, file a complaint at your local magistrate/district justice... The boy's parents will be held legally responsible and made to pay for his actions... If the parents find that they have to pay, they will be more likely to keep the boy out of everyones hair or surrender custody to your local juvenile detention facility. This process may take a while, but it is certainly worth it in the long run!!! Good luck!!!

Attempting to talk to him nicely, at least once, would be a good idea... maybe he does just need to know that someone cares, because his parent's dont seem to. But, if that does not work, then...

Try to get him on videotape, that way you have proof that he was the one who did the damage...

Getting the neighbors to sign a petition couldn't hurt either...

Report the parents to the police anytime you see signs of possiblle drug activity going on at their house (you can call 911 and make an anonymous report if you'd like)...

Call your local Child & Youth Services Agency and report the parents.

File several police reports..let it build up and somehow if you can get some destruction on video..I say take them to court if you can gather enough evidence..also it is your responsibility to call the proper authorities like CPS if they neglect their children and do drugs all day..

okay first off all no matter what anyone says the cops can do sometihng, not to him but his parents. they go to jail he goes to foster home, everyone wins except the douchebag kid and his douchebag parents yay! further more the parents have to pay for the property damage so thats a major major thing. continuing on there is always someone you can go to about this above the police so on so forth etc, there is no top, go as far as you must, get a restraining order on him for your daughter, you, your sons, wife etc watever, and as soon as your security cam (buy one) catches him at your house BAM jail, he does it agiain jail even longer and third offense hell be in till hes 18 and probably right back after that........

I say declare war on the brat if the cops don't do anything, although they should since he's breaking the law by disturbing the peace that we are all entitled to.
Anyway, your whole neighborhood should egg him back when he comes around their property.
Whatever you do, just fight fire w/ fire. The kid can't defeat all of you by himself.

im wondering why the cops can't do nothing about it . well you can always call the cops and say that the parents have narcotics and if they can please check it out, if enough evidence has been showed to them then they will eventully find it and take the kid away and both his unresponsible parents.

alright next time he does something i want you to go over their and SCREAM AT HIM. i want u to say wat is rong w. u go get some help im calling the police . park ur car in the garage (if u have 1) t0 prevent from being egged... & dnt leave ur kids alone he sounds dangerous.

P.S next time he eggs ur car yell at him to clean it up.

I can`t believe the cops can`t do anything. There has to be something that they can do unless they are afraid of the kid or the parents. I think I would get the neighborhood together and go to a town meeting and voice your concerns. GOOD LUCK Sounds like you need alot of Luck & Prayers

I'm sorry....I find it hard to believe that the cops won't do anything but.....if they really won't, get a petition together, get ALL the people in the neighborhood to sign it and show up at the city council meeting sometime and DEMAND that SOMETHING BE DONE.
I'd also report this kid and his family to children's services. Get some video evidence if you can.

maybe u need to take matters into your own hands u should try to talk to the child if that doesn`t works then just whoop him i kno that will work for sure try to beat him

I would advise you to call social services and make a report. His parents need to be checked out. If you have a video camera I would start setting it up at night and try to catch him on tape messing with your vehicles. It really sounds to me like this kid is acting out for attention because he isn't getting any from his parents. My other suggestion is to try being really nice to him next time you see him out. Say something like how are you today? Did you have a good day at school? You might be supprised and he might really end up being a better kid. You could be the one to change his life. OMG! What a J**k Do know any of his friends??? And maybe he's calling out for attention. I mean if his parents are druggies what else is he going to do! Try talking to him and if that doesn't work find out who can! HE probably just needs some one who cares about him!
I know If My parents didn't care about me I would see what it would take for them to notice me! or even Protect me.
Maybe he just needs a outlet to spend his time!
But more than anything just try being another parent to him and see if u can get him away from his druggy parents!

Plus I'm 15 too so just so u know not all 15's are bad! lol

confront him and tell him you will have the cops come by at night witch i think you should do is call the cops ask them to do a routine check by your neighborhood thats possible. Or if nothing works just stay up and if you see go outside with a gun or some ****. woop his *** or something you have to try stuff man like get yourself out there talk to neighbors or something. thats bull the cops wont do anything.i just think your not convincing them or something. personally i think calling the cops late at night when you see him is a good idea.
