Retarded kid at the park?

I am not trying to be rude but I go jogging at the park, 3 laps, and this kid is about my age or older and he goes on his scooter along a path laughing and once I ran past him and he laughed and I looked back and he had his teeth down touching his chin almost and laughing and he freaked me out so I ran out of the park, and once in a while he is there when Im running im afraid one time he is going to try to hit me and ill have to crack him, what do I do?

Why are you calling him "retarded" for? Just get a police officer and tell him your situation so you don't get in trouble for hurting the individual. I hope this helps you out friend.

I think he may just be acting retarded so that he can freak you out. Don't do anything unless he starts trying to hit you or starts to yell out werid stuff. Then you may want to report him to the cops for safety reasons.

He is probably harmless but if you are that afraid of him then maybe you should get someone to jog with you. Take a different path or see if you can find out who he is. That way at least you will know if he has a disability or if he is just being mean. Good Luck !!

It's normal to be afraid of them, but rise above it and realize you know nothing about him and he is probably not thinking what you think he's thinking.

Put yourself in his shoes, would you like someone thinking negative of you just because you are different? He is probably having fun on his scooter and that is why he is laughing.
Have you ever thought of say, "hi"? You might not be so scared of him if you gave him a chance and got to know him a bit.

It's not comfortable, but stop and talk to him. Get deets. You're on your own with this. Make the best of it and keep in touch with the candidate!

First of all, don't hit him/her for they can't help the way they are. Second, god don't like ugly. Let this person have as much fun as he/she can because we're all here only for a shore time, and life isn't gauranteed to any of us. So, let's be nice to one another. Forgive and forget, it really is that simple.

You need to understand that he has a different way of thinking about the world, and a different sense of humor. Just be aware of where he is when you're running, and try to keep out of his way. Go off the path and enjoy a new route once in a while, or run the opposite direction that he's scootering, this way you'll be able to keep an eye on him and make sure you avoid him before he hits you. Try not to resort to violence, He probably thinks that what he's doing is funny and ok, so just be understanding and patient.
