awful, I was so young I couldnt call the cops, I just watched, what would have you done if you were like 7 at the time? Lets see at 7 I was pretty feisty back then and really didn't like seeing or hearing about animals being hurt. So most likely I would have confronted the boy's and even gone so far as to get the kittens away from them. I think the shock alone of seeing a seven year old girl standing their giving them the third degree would have been shock enough. Especially for the fact I wasn't scared enough to run away. If it didn't work then I would find an adult and have them take care of the situation immediately. I'm a do something not nothing kinda gal, always have been; guess that's why I tend to get into trouble even now at 36 *ROFL* Oh well. I don't believe in keeping things bottled up if it's something I'm deeply passionate about. I would've called the cops/neighbor/blown a whistle, found a gun* Good luck, T I would have found my parents or oldest relative around to call the police and do something about it. I would have told my Mommy/Daddy or an adult...Im an animal lover so I would have at least tried to stop them. I would of went and told my big brother so he would come and kick the s### out of the older idiots! honestly, at seven, I probably would have just walked away crying I couldn't have watched. Why is 7 too young to call the cops? I had a similar experience when I was about 6, except these bullies poured gas on a cat, set it's tail on fire, and chased it up a tree. I screamed until a neighbor came out and took a hose to the tree then called the cops on those little sh*t boys. On the downside, I was scared to leave the house for a while. But on the upside, they all ratted out on each other so they were all caught...and best of all, the cat survived (although he lost part of his tail). Why must some young boys be so consumed by peer pressure? I can't imagine that any of them felt too good about what they did. |
