Need ideas for entertaining kids in the summer? |
I will be babysitting three kids five days a week all summer long: a first grader, third grader, and sixth grader. I plan on looking into VBS, going swimming, doing stuff with the library, playing in the sprinkler, riding bikes, zoo, NASA.... anybody else have any good ideas that might keep them busy, entertained, and not growing tired with me day after day? Get out the finger paints and side walk chalk... Make bird houses out of milk jugs or pop bottles. Plant some flowers or veggies and watch them grow. Check the movie theaters for free summer matinees. Start a photo scrapbook, let the kids take pictures. check out www.familyfun.com they always have alot of craft ideas and summer fun. |
