How to stop kids being jealous of step siblings or half siblings? |
I live in a mixed family my step daughter has 4 siblings on her mothers side , my step son has 2 siblings on his mothers side , my 5 children have each other while 1 of my children has 5 siblings he doesnt see ..... every weekend we have all 7 of our kids together or even just 5 there is discomfort between them because my husbands 2 children (by 2 different women ) have things like foxtel , bran new bikes , new clothes , the latest shoe trends , they go away for holidays we can never afford to go on even just camping on a beach 55 minutes up the coast from us ..... my husband pays these women child support every week he's never disputed the amount and we still pay for things if they ask like clothing (his daughter just had her year 12 prom and I used our childrens money to buy her dress , jewelry , shoes , and handbag her mother couldnt pay for it because she and her husband are going away next weekend on a type of 2nd honeymoon and needed all the money for that) just simply explain to your siblings about the situations of your step sibling or half sibling, i know they understand it.. explain to them lol thats the only way what else can u do ? Whack them Smack them??? u got a wacked *** family.. and if ur kids are jealous of each other.... tel them to get over themselves.... and grow up really its not that hard ok now that is wrong. why won't you do something creative for your children, make something up from thin air. Try to teach them how important it is to have a loving family, and tell the kids there lucky to have a loving parent I was in the same situation simple take them all i mean all kids to a zoo or an amusement park.... leave thm alone for a while... this shud help |
