Why don't most BMX bike have kick stands? |
There isn't even a spot for it. WHY? My kid wanted one so he doesn't have to prop his up against the wall outside, but theres no way to get one? A genuine BMX bike is meant for tricks and stunts. they are traditionally just kitted out with the bare minimum. so most don't have stands, or gears etc. you can get stands in most cysle shops that clamp to the lower rear bar just beside the wheel. because you just throw em down on the ground.. the scratches and dirt give it personality. becase they get in the way, and look funny, and bmx bike are usaluly made for profesionals not little boys.. Are you sure that answer shouldn't be professional little boys? Those bike are meant to be ridden, to never sit still........... Just a thought...... Go to a bike shop, they can add one on.... They add extra weight and get in the way. Most serious bikes don't have a kick stand. And that goes for mountain and racing bikes as well. You're talking about a kiddy bike. |
