What kind of bike do you recommend?

I rode a cycle when I was a kid growing up, but have not been on one since. I'm sure I'll take to it easily. I want somthing sturdy, off rode and general cycling, like in battelfields (VA).

Get yourself an entry level mountain bike... something between 500 and 700 dollars.

Try KHS, Specialized, or Giant.

Eagle mountainbike ...sturdy treads ...but I wouldn't desecrate trails with it ...strictly for the urban ...
sounds like you need a good combination bike... i ride a specialized hard rock pro.. its great for trails and off road, and its a hard tail so you dont lose power on the streets.
I would recommend a mountain bike i had one that is good with all types of land. Street,off road,dust,dirt i just would not recommend it on small gravel rocks like pebbles. HOPE THIS IS SOME TYPE OF HELP!!!!! Definitly a entry level mountain bike
