How do you tell your neighbors' children not to play on your yard? |
The kids ride their bikes on our driveway, their pets use my garden as a bathroom, I have a beautiful yard, and we are concerned about lawsuits! Small fence around the yard will stop the bikes and when the kid hang around near your yard turn on the sprinklers. For pets mix a concentration of 1 cup flour, 1 can of cayenne pepper and 1 can of dry mustard.. put it in a jar and sprinkle it around your plants. ( do NOT inhale this stuff). I had a lab that would not stop dumping in my plants, this works everytime. All they do is sneeze a few times and they stay away. But you do need to re apply if it rains. talk to the neighbors not their children. remember good fences make good neighbors, so you might consider fencing off your yard. Possum Making enemies with your neighbors will increase the probability of a lawsuit! Ask them to please not ride on the grass, put some ground pepper in the flowerbeds and pay your insurance primiums.......... or build a giant fence. its annoying make no bikes allowed and let then use your yard if and only if u want to as long as the yard takes and a great yard as ours invites children i even put a gate in the fence in case they have to go from the bus stop to home its cold here no damage done in 29 years and knew of owners befor that its your call it will happen i also keep my yards healthy and watch their fun me tell the parents...make up an excuse...pesticides/fertlizers... something like that... |
