Do you feel like you are in comeptition with ur sterpchildren? why? is this normal? |
I am fond of my stepchildren, but sometimes my stepdaughter acts like a drama queen, and my stepson acts like a 2 year old ( he is nine). They are VERY spolied, and dad ( my fiance) gives them anything they want. Hell, he won't take me to dinner, but he will spring for 175.00 shoes, new bikes, etc. for kids. I am happy he is there for his kids-honestly. I have kids of my own. But, When he talks about our future, he says " I want to maintain a good life for me & my kids". Is anything wrong with this picture, or am I being overly sensitive? sounds like you will always be in competition with his kids who can "do no wrong" ....I can tell u if you're not on a united front with all issues with the kids your marriage WONT work!!!!!!!!!!!!! THOSE ARE HIS KIDS AND HE IS SUPPOSED TO GIVE THEM ANYTHING THEY WANT AND NEED. SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU ARE JEALOUS. ALSO SOUNDS AS IF YOU WANT HIM ALL TO YOURSELF. AND WHY WOULD YOU TRY TO COMPETE WITH CHILDREN ANYWAY? Don't marry him if your that sensitive to the 'problem' If you marry him YOU'LL be the one dishing out the 200 bucks for all that crap- So either resolve the issue or walk out- b\c that's just how it's going to end up if it bothers you. I think you are being overly sensitive. The jealousy is normal for a new relationship. You must realize though, this is the way it's going to be forever. He will not change, and he shouldn't- he is taking good care of his children. If your wish is to be put before the children, that will never happen. Really think hard about it before you make the jump. If you are going to be miserable about this forever, he is not the right man for you and you need to break up before the wedding. Good luck! you my friend are on a down hill ride if he is talking about his future and only his kids are mentioned ,sounds to me like hes out for himself and his kids and those little drama queens they are TROUBLE i have one my self and i cant stand the little witch she is married 3 kids of her own 2 kids belong to ex and one belongs to boyfriend she only calls her dad when she is mad at her mom or boyfriend she has caused me many problems my husband has a younger daughter she is 21 he thinks this kid has wings and he does me the same way your hubby does you so since she is so great now she gets to wash his clothes and be his maid he can talk to her but he cant me im going to be honest with you put your foot down or you and your kids will be slaves for him and his kids Tahts his kids thay are going to be there when you are gone talk to him about the problem |
