What is a good way for a 12 year old boy to earn summer money? |
I'm 12, really good with kids, no lawn mower, no bike (right now), and have car washing experience. I've been thinking about this.Here are my ideas: Car washing:10.00 Baby-Sitting:5.00/hr Dog walking:2.00 Thats all i can really think of...any suggestions? i wouldn't do baby-sitting.....I don't mean to be rude or anything but most parents wouldn't trust a 12 year old with their kids. hmm... well, here are a few ideas... If you are good in a particular subject in school, perhaps some summer tudoring, or if musical, music lessons If you have a golf course near you you could try being a golf caddie (you can earn some good money there) You could maybe get paid to entertain, if you have any special talents such as magic or singing, ect. In our area many businesses will put flyers on our door advertising their businesses. (businesses such as pizza places, real estate, pool installers, ect) They are always looking for young kids to ride around on roller blades placing those flyers on peoples doors. (my son is 13 and just got asked if he would like to do that) Maybe check with local businesses and offer to place flyers around the neighborhood. Window cleaning Help pack the house for those moving You could check with a local vet and see if they might need some extra summer help, cleaning cages ect. You could also check with your local library and see if you might be able to help people find books or reshelf books that are returned, sometimes, depending on your area, there might be a age limit but you could always check Whatever you decide make sure you advertise and get your name and offer out there. What you have to do is complete surveys and offers for companies that want the public's opinion. By doing this, you are able to earn money very easily for simply giving your opinion or trying out sample products. This is a great service that allows one to work from home, on their spare time, at their leisure, and still bring in a nice sum of money every month. People have made up to $800 easily on this site by just working on it in their spare time. It is not going to replace a real job's salary, but it is a very nice bonus.
