I read the book behind closed doors recently and it affected me alot?

the women who wrote it sufferred terrible abuse and her brothers and sisters and their father was let off in the court and even the nspcc did not speak or listen to the kids on their own. even the doctor gave medical evidance and they said the kid was hurt on their bike, it was shocking, these child protection people need question sometimes do you not think it made me angry.

Of course it would make me angry.
I am lucky to have two lovely boys, aged 16 & 13, and I would go to the ends of the earth to protect them, make them safe & comfortable, well educated, and whatever, within reason.
It is beyond me why my some folks mistreat their offspring, in various forms of behaviour.
Good greif, I hired a pool thing so that they could be born underwater, to begin with. Great fun !

I give my 拢3 per month to the NSPCC, hopefully to assist those that are in difficulties.

Oh, I am not being pompous, I hope, but if I see a child being mis-treated, I will have a word or two.

Yeah people keep saying that kids need to talk about anything like that happening to them. Maybe it was years ago when people would'nt hear of such a thing. But in this day and age i think somthing like that would be taking seriously.I can understand that it made you angry and it is a good topic to bring up, People that do such evil need shooting xx
What are you blathering on about? Firstly, this is not a question, it is a polemic. Secondly, who are you complaining about? Is it Social Services or the NSPCC or what? I can only suggest that the book that you read must have been set a long time ago, as nowadays claims of abuse would never be investigated in this way.
