My friend.......? |
Okay my friend quit football last year becuz he hated the coach or atleast thats wat he said, but now since were getting a new coach i sorta got him thinking about playing again, what should i tell him becuz im not tryiing to like make him but just trying to make his decision easier, when he quit he came back to return his stuff and one of my other teamates (i hate this kid, i got in like 4 fist fights with the *****, in the classroom, but luckily the teacher was out of the room) but yea.. the kid got on my friends bike and took off full speed at a wall, he jumped off and the handlebars and some other stuff was messed up on it.. n ppl made fun of him and stuf...but yea..hes like 6'0 and 280lbs..i honestly think he should, he would get in much better shape and its alot of fun playing a game u love with ur friends, beating the hell outta ppl lol, so yea... like wat should i say? As a High School football coach you can't stress about it. Either he wants to play or not. All you can do is sell him on it and if he wants to play then great. If he does not leave it alone and focus on yourself. Like the old saying..."You can walk a horse to get water but you can't make him drink". As for that kid that's messing with you guys beat the crap out of him again. I shouldn't say that but get the school involved or the police. File charges against him and get a restraining order and if he comes within 100 yards of you he goes to jail. Of course if he is playing ball with you they will allow that. He might have said he hated the coach but it could be his excuse to get out of it. I'm sure I have a couple who hate me but it's like wise so no biggie to me. Dude, play the game cause you like it and you are only young once. When you are older you will regret not playing. No matter if you totally suck or are the best ball handler on the team, the few moments you have on the field will make you smile when you reflect back on your life.. i am an incoming senior, and since freshmen year ive been saying i am going to play football. Although, something always seem to come up and i couldnt play, now i am too busy working to pay for college. I REALLLY REGRET not being able to play. Tell him to go and try out with you. Say to him first to play because he likes it and play to have fun. He could like it or could hate it. But keep on him to play until he says he hates it when lay off. Have him tryout and see if he makes the team. If he does tell him to play as long as he enjoys it. Don't pressure him and tell him to keep playing as long as he likes it. |
