Need help for a young mother with 3 boys, 1,3,6 yr. old, no furnace in her trailer, no car, no job? |
she has no way to get a job because of no car, her boyfriend does drugs and i think she is at her wits end. i cant help her much because my income is very limited. she cant get housing because of her boyfriend when she had assistance didnt pay the rent. i feel so bad for her an the kids. the 3 yr. old was given a small bike that he loved to ride and some bigger and meaner kids, broke it, he was sobbing. if i can find one at a yard sale cheap, i will get it for him. the 6 yr. old had his new bike stolen. i just dont know how much more she can take If I knew First she needs to get rid of the boyfriend!Go to your local church.They have a food cupboard.Food first.Shelter can be provided for by a womens shelter which the church could also help you with.They can point her in the right direction about finding quality daycare, job seminars and the salvation army could probably help with transportation.Salvation Army can also help with shelter and clothing.Local electric company could help her with a new furnance and Social Services with Food Stamps and medical insurance.I hope this is enough information.Good Luck!I knew were she lived I would send her a bike for her little guy.Got 3 at my house that my kids dont even use. she needs to lose the loser boyfriend and good things will start to happen for her and she needs to take a bus and get a job Take her to a local woman's shelter. If there is one in your area, They have counselors and will help her get on her feet. she needs to leave the boyfriend. Don't let police/social services anywhere near this,as they will remove the children and place them in foster care/shelter.They can also cite her and take away custody permanently. It sounds to me like she is also on drugs or she wouldn't put her loser boyfriend before her kids well-being.She needs to lose the loser,and focus on giving her kids a better life.She doesn't have to live like this-she chooses to. For herself and her kids. It sounds harsh,I know, but you can't do anything for her,or help her,unless she wants to change their lives.Only she can do that,but at the point that you see her makeing positive changes, it will be nice for her to have a good friend to lend her a hand,and that's about all you can do. Find a large church in your area. They often will help her with groceries, etc. |
