Does anyone miss NOT having a cell phone?

Don't get me wrong. Cell phones can be very useful at times. However, I remember growing up as a kid and I would always use house phones to call my friends, parents, etc. Now, EVERYONE has a cell phone. Everyone is so easily available to contact; if you're out late with friends, your parents can easily get a hold of you. I remember the days when I actually rode my bike or drove to my friends house to ring the doorbell to see if he was there. I can't even remember the last time my doorbell rang. Nowadays, we call peoples' cell phones to see if they can hang out. To be quite honest, I miss the days of calling peoples' house phones.
I know some of you might be like, "What the heck is wrong with you?" To be honest, it'd be nice if everyone just gave up their cell phones for just one week. I miss experiencing life before cell phones.

I sure do. I never had a cell phone. I don't want to. I like storming to my friends house and throwing rocks at their window till they come out. It's so much more fun then calling and saying "Hey! I'm outside your house! You wanna go someplace?"

Plus, I hate text speak with a dieing passion, and if I got a text saying, "U wan 2 go 2 the movies? I got $$$ 4 popcorn!!!" I would throw my phone till it broke. So Even if I did have a cell phone, I wouldnt have it very long.

Cell phones are impersonal.

i love having a cell phone sometimes i still show up at my friends's houses but it just depends but if they live really far away then i'd call them first you know.

I don't have a cell phone atleast for the past 4-5 years! So people do call my place to hang out!
