Unusually thick tires: Info?

The other day I saw a kid/guy like a teenager riding a bike, and his back bike tire was almost double or triple the width of a regular bike tire. It was really awesome. It was like half the width of the tires in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U52UnHDzU... at 1:44 or 1:45. Does anyone know what they are called or where I can buy them?

Just for clarification (though good answer IRideABike), what I saw was a smallish BMX bike with a very wide (car-like) tire in the back, and a regular tire in the front. Also, if anyone might know how I might go about putting a car tire on a bike?
