My neighbors child is aggressive Mom won't listen and gets offended when I tell her they live next door help

When we say that we can't play the child rides his ATV and parks it right at the property line. he stares at us and revs the bike over and over. he is a bully and is just very rude to one of my kids. the mom said to tell her when something happens, so I did, then she gets all offended and says I am attacking her as a mother. he is abusive to animals, kicking them hitting them etc. he has shown aggression to my animals. he has shown aggression to me by shining a bright light in my face as we left the house one day. he gets angry at me when it is time for us to go home. we can't move and the parents, though blind to his disturbing behavior are very nice and wonderful people. No one around will say anything to them because they are important people in the community and they are afraid of what will happen if they do. Now I can see why. They just don't want to see him as anything but a good kid. It is so frustrating.

Can you say 8 foot privacy fence????

Call to the cops. I had a kid down the street decide it would be funny to bash in my mailbox and throw stink bombs in it, funny thing was I was in my backyard and ran and got my camera... it's awesome when justice prevails. =)

Plus he can serve time if you prove he's being abusive to animals

Is there any way you can get proof of his behaviour like setting up a small CCTV camera pointing onto where this lad parks his ATV? (You can get small cheap ones for home use which would do fine!) Then when you have enough evidence, invite the parents to your house for a drink and a "chat" and show them the video. Tell them you're not having a go at them as parents but you would be grateful if there was a way you could both work it out (that way it sounds like your not just lumping the blame on them).

If I saw with my own eyes any type of abuse to animals or others in the neighborhood, I would make a report to the authorities. If this kid acts like this now, how is he going to be as a grown adult? Scary. I would just try to avoid them at any cost so you don't need to spend time with them. We had a neighbor whose child was always pushing my daughter when he came over to play and I just stopped going out when she was around with her boy. It makes life a little more complicated but better than dealing with an evil boy like what you have living next door.

That's kind of troubling! I think that you need to start a journal and try to document these incidences. Particularly if he is destructible to your property or harms animals...you need to contact the authorities. I know it sounds extreme, but you have acted so courteously towards the parents and they are bone heads. Next step is to report him. I'm sorry that you're dealing with that, but you've been very patient and it's time to lower your tolerance and stop this little trouble maker before he REALLY does something bad.

you need to let your neighbors know that you just dont care who they are, even if they are the presidents. you WILL STAND BY YOUR children becasue they are your flesh and blood. and that you and your kids have NOT shown any aggresion toward their child. and that maybe they should spend more time with him because they cannot control if your kid plays with theirs.

explain your situation. and ask them that if he was such a good kid would he torture you kid and your animals?
and as the other answer i read before typing. i do think id be helpful to set up a camera.

also. that is YOUR PROPERTY and if you have restricted ANY of them off it. you have half a mind to call the police.
