Buying my 1st BMX bike?

Hi, I'm new to BMX bikes. I felt like buying a bike after watching the Black Mags video by the Cool Kids. I just wanna buy one to travel on the street. Maybe I'll learn some tricks. What are some good, durable brands? What's the difference between freestyle and street/dirt?

First, the difference between freestyle and dirt is that, usually, freestyle bikes have a gyro and dirt bikes don't have a gyro and make a ticking sound when you stop pedalling.

Buy the bike you want or a GT Performer08. I have one and it's awesome.

get urself a haro, cheap with 3 pcs crank. freestyle (flat land, more on rolling ticks) and street/dirt (flying here & there)

id go with A haro or mirraco
