I saw an advert for a downmarket kids bike shop and their jingle was 'we didn't start the fire' but the lyrics had been changed and on the list were things like........... I am pretty sure he must have sold it, adverts in Britain on public television are very strictly regulated, Even the music was the same. He probably made more bucks off that little jingle than we'll make in five years...but he owns it, he did what he wanted to with it, and so it's his to sell...he's laughing all the way to the bank... Did they get Billy's permission? He's never come across as a sell out to me. |
