Quad bike riding for kids around geelong area - any suggestions?

We have just purchased the kids a small quad and am really stuggling to find small open spaces in bush areas that they can have a ride. We really want to camp, have a fire and let the kids have a ride around without a park ranger coming along and telling us we cant do any of that. We usually go to Murchison on the Goulburn river for long weekends but that is 3 hrs away......Can anyone suggest a spot?? thanks.

if you guys live in cali, then i suggest pismo. I went there a few times to ride and you can have fires and ski and anything. the land is really smooth so its safe for kids, the dunes dont get big until you get farther in, so stay near camp if your kids have never ridden before. i always see little 4 year olds that get more air on jumps then me-its really cool
