On thursday i was eating breakfast at a diner down the street from me. i drive my scooter down there bc its so close. i ride a scooter bc im handicap but i can walk and i am independent. i ride it for when i dont walk short distances. however the disability should not be an issue.

anyway, i ordered what i usually do and it was kinda dead so the waitress sits down for a couple mins. we small talk and we know each other bc im a regular. she got up and went to the kitchen and when she went by me next time she grabbed my forearm. i just kinda brshed that off but she did it again few mins later. shes didnt squeeze it hard but put her hand around my bicep. it was noticeable since it was the second time she did it. shes around my age im 26 shes 24. i was sure to say goodbye to her when i left....

so i go in today, sit where i usually sit order what i usually order and she waits on me. we talked bout her roomate shes about to kick out and as i was leaving she initiated a hug and we hug..

From what I can tell she seems interested. Try and get her number and ask her to a movie or dinner. Then take it from there=)

I was his sister's caregiver in a group home (she's got developmental disabilities). He would come to see her twice a week and it started out with us just talking because we were both there. Soon, he was hugging me goodbye along with his sister and not long after, we found ourselves hanging out outside of the group home.

Yeah, that's a chicks way of letting her know she is interested and would probably accept a date if you asked her. Touching and hugging are a girl's way of letting her know she likes you and is comfortable with you. If you were just some other "regular" at the diner and she wasn't interested, she would still talk to you and be friendly, but wouldn't touch you. Just to make yourself feel better before you ask her out, watch her and how she interacts with the other customers. Does she touch/hug any of the other "regulars"? If not, then you have your answer. If so, she just might be one of those flirty/touchy feely women.

Well, it is possible, but I have waited tables for years and know for a fact that if you brush against or touch a customer your tip will sky-rocket- its a fact. Are you tipping well? She may be trying to make extra $$ by chatting you up.

She for sure likes you, but I dunno about a romantic context.if she is into you other than as a great customer, then she knows she has to make that move. Waiters get hit on constantly-really,all the time- and we just have to grit our teeth,as it is just part of the job.

If she is interested in more than your current customer/server relationship, I am sure she will make that move.All you need to do is continue being nice & tipping well.

I have seen other gals I work with hugging customers they are fond of who come in reguarly with no intentions of coming on to them,just a show of fondness. I make an effort not to do this, so there wont be any confusion or stalkers ( waiters really do get creepy stalkers!)

You sound like a great customer,so keep on being that. I really dont see how your scooter has anything to do with it. if you were my customer and I found you charming the scooter would have no affect on my feelings.
