I purchased a Kinetic 4S a month back and I have a difficult time starting it in the mornings. I use the choke lever also, but I still have to kick 20 to 30 times to get it to start. Can someone let me know if there is some easier way to do this? A bad, weak, or worn out spark plug can make one hard to start. Also; the gap on the plug being wrong, a dirty fuel or air filter, or the carburetor leaking down can all be factors in a hard starting engine. Even a weak spark from a bad coil can make it difficult to kick off. You can get the engine on its compression stroke before you kick it, will make it fire easier. Kick the thing until you find the place it is most hard to kick, and you will be there. Now, kick it hard and it should fire first time. Do this by pushing the kick start gently until you find the hard place to move it. With all your weight on the kick start, give it one big kick, and it should fire. The old bikes had a compression release on them so you could get it on the compression stroke easily, and then you would close the compression release, and kick the crap out of it, and it would fire.
Glad I could Help. Good Luck!!! see this is winter season, its obvious to hav such problems. since then engine get cooled up u hav that problem. In general engine gets started in warm condition. U better follow these steps.
1.always never go with self start.
2.during early hours u just start it with kick so that engine gets heated up.
3.hav checkups and services regularly.
4. if u still hav the complaint with u go to the showroom where u purchased and complain them |
