I've got a 2001 SR 125.
The battery is charged and working perfectly.
The carb is drained and alls the jets, gaskets etc. are clean.
The spark is very strong from the re-chared battery.
The starter relay clicks.
There is sufficient compression and it pushes my thumb off when i cover the clyinder.
The exhuast is clear and air comes out the end when i try to start.
The kick start doesn't start it, it just sounds a bit clunky - i don't know much but could it be something to do with the starter pinion or something?
The engine wants to start and sounds like it would normally before starting but won't fire!!
There is no kill switch, immobiliser or alarm, only a steering lock.
The fuel flows fine into the clean carb. The belt is ok because when i roll the rear wheel with my hand I can hear it move the belt.
Plenty of petrol and oil.
The scoots only been sitting about a month.
Is there anything i'm missing? Annoyingly i think i'm going to have to take it to the garage!! =(
Cheers it's an automatic, it doesn't have a clutch so bump starting is not an option. i hope you have a hill near where you live it sounds like the cylinder needs priming make sure fuel tap is on and there is fuel in the tank ,dont try electric start as this will put a big drain on the battery roll it down hill with ignition on then put it in gear and let the clutch out at the same time you open the throttle and hang on for dear life.
