With gas prices sky high are you planning to start riding your bicycle more or even getting motor scooter? I have been commuting to work on a Honda Reflex for two years now, and I plan on reviving my old Schwinn cruiser for riding around when I am home. Hey, that old cruiser worked great for paper routes when I was a teenager. Trips to the store should be nothing for it. it's $4.35 for diesel right now and $3.97 for 91 octane fuel I parked my truck months ago and ride my H-D everyday to work and home and everywhere else I need to go that I don't need a car or truck for it cost me $87.00 to put 20 gallons of diesel in my truck and that doesn't even fill it ,it costs me about $6.00 dollars a day to fill the bike for a 100 mile daily round trip Yes, since hearing yesterday that gas will hit $4.00, I decided that I'm going to start riding my bike to the grocery store and possibly also to the gym. I just wish cities would consider this and put in more bike trails! Yep I'm riding my scooter in the city everywhere I go... there's no way I'm buying a car! Although parking with a scooter can be tricky, the law is not clear about it... they should be more lenient since we're doing good for green... My bicycle has a worn out pedel so i guess im stuck with my Shovel No, no, my softtail gets 38 mpg, I'll deal with the higher prices. |

Assuming your scooter has a 500W motor, to convert to 100% solar you will need to carry around a panel that measures at least 4x10 feet. Panels that size usually cost a couple of thousand dollars.... "New To Scooters" thread ... i'm not sure that what you're looking at is what most would consider a proper scooter.... when i think scooter, i think of something like a vespa.... which you do need a license for. t... Too much oil = rich gas oil mixture. It will cause it to foul plugs. It is flooded when the plug becomes saturated in gas. Pull the plug and clean it off to fix the flooded problem.....or let... That isn't a moped. It's a gas scooter. Riders must obtain a motorcycle driver's license, which in New York State requires that you pass a written test and either pass a road tes... I can't think of anything other than a bigger motor or higher output battery. See if these folks have anything that might help. Give them a ring and they may have some suggestions. ...
