Do gas scooters require a licence in Canada?

what are the rules in Canada for gas powered scooters, and do they require a licence? im interested in one, but im not sure if they are illegal or not. does it depend on speed or they're just not illegal or they are but you need a licence? i'm not sure that what you're looking at is what most would consider a proper scooter.... when i think scooter, i think of something like a vespa.... which you do need a license for.

that thing you found is more of a toy, no lights or anything, so it definitely won't be a license thing, but i would guess it's a municipal bylaw thing, ask your city hall if it's legal where you live, then you'll know.

because it's motorized, you can also still get a dui on one of those even unlicensed so be smart
