Do I have to have a Motorcycle liscence to drive a scooter in MO or do I just need my regular driver lisence?

Hi,
With gas prices going up, my husband and I were thinking of purchasing a scooter, but needed to know if I needed to take a specific test in MO, or does my regular liscence count? I'm new to this, so thank you in advance.

I was planning on using it to go back and forth from work, (not a highway) using a 150cc scooter.

For any thing 50cc and up you must have a motorcycle endorsement.

Less then 50cc is considered a moped or as they call it a motorized bicycle.

I'm not in your state but in most states if a scooter does more than 20mph you do need to have a license to ride it,but your best bet is to ask a police officer or motor vehicle

yeah you'll have to take the test & get a M license & you will have to wear a helmet .
