Looking for a scooter under 500.00--electric or gas--which has top speed of at least 50mph, and is good for? |
...and is good for daily local driving, total of 35 miles. To heck with scooters! Get a moped! They are much better. I have a puch moped. It set me back exactly $30. I bought a 65cc metrakit (cylinder kit) from a friend and it should be going about 50mph. There needs to be a few other modifications, but if you are even remotely mechanically inclined, it should be pretty easy. The best part about moped is that they aren't covered in plastic. 2 strokes rev higher than 4 strokes and they seem to be pretty reliable. The only problem is that most puch mopeds are about 30 years old... |
