I have a goped scooter that does not have a kill switch and also does not have a choke that i can find. I checked the spark plug for a spark and it is in working order. I have the correct gas in the tank. I open the throttle half way and pull the pull-start string, but it still won't start. I am also making sure to prime the bulb 8-10 times. But STILL won't start. I don't know what else to do. After you have spent sometime trying to start it...pull the spark plug to see if it is wet...Getting fuel! If it's dry either find the choke...or turn the fuel on at the tank..or replace the fuel filter.... or figure out whats wrong with the carb. If it is wet( getting fuel ) then your problem is electrical ...You said that the plug works...so lets assume that that means that the Coil &magneto are okay..then the only thing left is the timing .....get some help...because special tools and knowhow may bee needed! If the plug is way to wet (flooding) then prime it a lot less or figure out whats wrong with the carb. |
