2 stroke help?

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
Are the reeds installed properly and in working condition.
Does it have an automatic choke? It could be defective.
How disassembled was it? Did you check the compression after re-building?
More information is needed.

Are you sure it is a 2-stroke? most scooters on the road are 4-strokers. I have had the same problem with several things and it usually turns out to be the idle sensor or pulley or something simple like that. make sure everything in the inside of the engine is clean, like jets, carb, valves, plug, everything. that can really put a damper in your ride ability.
