My moped/scooter keeps shutting off while i'm driving and every now and then wont start. Any idea whats wrong? |
It'll be running fine and then while going about 50mph it will just randomly shut down so i'll release the gas and rev it again and it comes right back to life. Its brand new...It shouldn't be the carbuerator. Could be a clogged fuel filter (easy fix). Check the fuel tank vent. A moped will not go 50 mph. was this a trick question? clean the carb |

Did you try the Razor dealer locator? ... Try squirting a little fuel into the spark plug hole. If the scooter has been sitting dormant for some time with fuel in the carb, it may have evaporated leaving deposits which are obstructing the ... take the plug out clean it and spray wd40 on it! i guarantee it will work! ... |
