1991 Honda Elite CH80 wont start?

so i just pulled out my dad's old scooter

battery was dead, so i put it on a charger

the engine will crank, but it wont turn over

been pullin stuff out and puttin it back in to see whats up

pulled out the spark plug, cranked the engine, didn't smell any gas

so i think theres somethin wrong with the fuel lines or carb and if im wrong, then what could be wrong? and what could i do to fix it?

yes, i do have gas in the gas tank, if i shake the scooter, i can hear it sloshing around, and if i open the cap, i can smell it

anyways, if no one here can help me figure out what's wrong with it, can anyone direct me to somewhere where i can find a shop manual for it?

Try squirting a little fuel into the spark plug hole. If the scooter has been sitting dormant for some time with fuel in the carb, it may have evaporated leaving deposits which are obstructing the internal "jet" passageways (clear with a guitar string).

have you checked to see if it has gas in the tank?
It could have a manual fuel switch that by turning it , it lets the fuel flow. a lot of older scooters had them. (just a thought.)
