What gas scooter I can buy for use for $1000 dollars in pennsylvania? How much will gas cost for the scooter?

and how many other gallons of gas average does a scooter take to full ?

As long as the scooter can get me around a small town I dont care the year. As long as it works.

In Pennsylvania its illegal to ride any type of motorcycle under 100cc's on any limited access highway.
Ur not going to get much of a scooter for $1000
I would suggest to get a scooter with at least a 200 or 250cc engine.
It would go as fast and keep up with traffic
I would also suggest to buy a scooter from the major Japanese brands such as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and avoid any of the Chinese made knock-offs

Most 50cc scooter hold just over a gallon of gas and get 70-100mpg.
Look at used scooters for what you want to spend.
Stay away from 99% of scooters made in China.

You can get a 150cc scoot for less than $1,000 shipping included off of the net. The scoots use only premium fuel. If you get one of these expect to have to work on it yourself or take it to a shop. What most of the dealers on the net are putting on their sites about this scoots is not facts at all--example a lot say top speed of 75 mph for the 150cc scoot when in the real world it is a lot closer to 55mph. The 150cc is not a highway scoot--in town yesThe 150cc engines have more problems than the 250cc engines. The dealers warranty is for parts only not labor and you might have to wait 2 to 3 months for the new part/s to come in. Warranty is a great big gamble on these scoots.

u can get a brand new one for 800-950 dollars from pepboys but i donno like someone said in pennsylvania it hvae to be 150 cc then the cost would be 1600 dollars . by the way i'am about to buy one very soon , **** gas prices are going high i'am about to walk very soon instead of paying 3.00 dollars a gallon .in michigan u need a least 50cc without a motorcycle licence or insurance . so why not go for it .
the 50 cc from pepboys is a baja sports it goes up to 40 mph and drive 100 mpg but i'll say cause the epa cheat so it would drive 75 mpg the tank i think was rated at 1.2 or something i don't remember . if ur looking for a faster one under 50 cc if it's allow in ur state they also have 50cc that goes around 50 mph but mostly scooter dealer have them but they cost 1800 for 50 cc
