Whats best electric gas or petrol scooter?

hi can anyone one suggest whats best i am looking to buy a scooter to drive to and from work. there are electric petrol and gas scooters available 50 cc and 125 cc and i really don't know which is the best and more efficient to run

gas is cheaper to buy, but not sure on efficiency.
petrol is reliable but expansive fuel.
Electric, some have short battery power, so be careful.

I prefer gas. It's super cheap! But I think it's up to each person.

Gas is readily available at most stations and about 45p a litre compared to about 99p for petrol, electric may run up your household bills and if it runs out u r high and dry, go for gas. Also a 125 scooter is better for faster acceleration from traffic lights and roundabouts where u need to make a dash cos they come around too fast.

My daughter has a Yamaha BW 50cc scooter and she loves it . Here in Canada she gets about 120 KM to 4 liters of gas (petrol). She has gotten it up to 80 Km/H but normally flat out it will do between 60-70 Km/H even with my backside in the saddle. The guys at the bike shop say that they can soup-up her ride so that it will do over 80Km/H but I think that given the choice from the get-go the 125cc would be the better choice. The only complaint that she has is when she stops for her morning coffee she doesn't have a cup holder. There is lots of space under the saddle to hold a helmet and/or shopping it came with a little rear carrier big enough for some shopping.
