How do i test if a spark plug is good for gas scooter?

i need to know how to test a spark plug for a gas scooter

i own a shop and you can take it out and ground it against the engine and pull the start rope and if you see it spark ,you,ll know its at least getting spark,you may also need to re-gap it too to get it to run real good ,hope this helps.

Remove the spark plug, then attach the plug wire to it. Hold the plug against the side of the engine in a place that you are sure it will be grounded. Try to crank the scooter while watching to see the plug fire. If it doesn't fire, it is fouled or bad.

Take it to an auto supply house.

Unscrew the plug out of the spark plug hole and connect the spark plug wire to it. Lay the plug on the outside of the engine so the metal base is touching the engine. Turn the engine over with the starter and look for the spark plug to spark across its gap. Clean the plug with a small wire brush. If it's caked with black deposits, I would recommend installing a new plug.

A spark plug is good for a a gas engine..If your asking does any spark plug work for your gas scooter..the answer is no..and can find that out at local auto parts ..If your asking if the spark plug out of your scooter is working...then follow the others advice...However,if possible,make sure you check it with the engine turning a number of times to see it doesn't loose spark once it was seen..If you get no spark at all..Replace...I'd check the new spark plug in the same manner,before installing just to make sure no other problems....and that your gap is set correctly.........
