im building a gas powered scooter but i have no engine and i dont have enough money to buy one, and i have an old lawn mower so i was wondering it that would work? Lawn engines are designed to run on self regulating constant RPM, and their output shaft is vertical. You would need to do a lot of modifications to fit it into a scooter frame and have proper speed control. I am guessing but even a brand new scooter will be less expensive. dont waste your time.
