Are you going to get a scooter or a hybrid vehicle now that gas prices are going up again?

I heard on the news that the average gas price was about $ 3.07 a gallon.

It is $3.29 by me. I am considering a scooter. It would have to be pink otherwise forget it.

Everyone who can afford to should ditch the car they are driving now and buy a hybrid! Thats the only way gas prices are going to go down is if people stop depending on gasoline and start buying hybrids, or yes in some cases buying a scooter. Or if if you live in a big city use public transportation.

I would like to buy a hybrid for my next car. Not for a least a year, though.

Whatever my parents buy me...

Why not a bicycle? Here in Japan people use bikes all the time. I've seen all ages on them, even stylish old ladies who must be in their 70's! When it rains they ride their bike with an umbrella in one hand, and parents lift little children on their bikes.

And what's wrong with your two feet? I walk to the station, about 15 minutes from me, every day. My car's not here!

After living in Taiwan I HATE scooters. They're the worst noise polluters ever!
